Island Child by Ann Lockley

A new book that every Skokholm-ite or island lover should enjoy has just been published...

"When reading through the diaries of her father, the well-known naturalist and writer R. M. Lockley, Ann Lockley was struck by the differences between what he had written and what she remembered. So here, she gives her side of things. A readable and enjoyable story about an unusual childhood."

I just read Island Child. Very interresting for me as I am Ann's half brother, Martin. For some years now I have been working on a large biographiocal and bibliographical book on our father, Ronald Lockley. Ann's book has quite a few snippets which add details to areas that I did not know about
